Short Bio

Hello! I'm Darren, a M.S. student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at The University of California, Merced. My advisor is Prof. Xiaoyi Lu.

Research Interests

My research interests include Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks, NVMe-based Storage, and Cloud Computing. The current projects I am involved in are - 1) an agricultural problem where robust object detection is implemented against a diverse dataset; 2) an NVMe-over-Fabric based design for modern storage systems.
