Alex Wan is a UC Merced undergraduate student and he started working with PADSYS Lab since this summer under the support of UC Merced/CITRIS FACTS program. He is currently working with Adam Weingram on an AgTech project.

We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Weicong Chen has joined PADSYS Lab as a postdoc research scholar since March 13th, 2023. He recently earned his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) under the supervision of a world-class biostatistician and research scholar, Prof. Curtis Tatsuoka at University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Chen's research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including high-performance computing, Big data, Bayesian methods, combinatorial optimizations, parallel and scalable scientific simulation, group testing methodologies, and rt-fMRI data analytics.
We're looking forward to working with Dr. Chen and are excited about the contributions he will make to our ongoing research efforts.
