PADSYS Lab Moves to University of Florida!

PADSYS Lab has officially joined the University of Florida!

Starting in 2026, Prof. Xiaoyi Lu has joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UF, and PADSYS Lab begins an exciting new chapter. We look forward to expanding our research on scalable, efficient, and secure systems for modern computing, including HPC, AI, and heterogeneous infrastructures.

Go PADSYS!

PADSYS Lab is actively looking for strong postdoc researchers and Ph.D. students interested in parallel and distributed computing, AI systems, and high-performance communication. Please feel free to reach out to Prof. Lu for more details.

Two Papers Presented to SC 2025!

We are excited to announce that two papers from PADSYS Lab have been accepted and presented at SC 2025:

  • "HPC-R1: Characterizing R1-like Large Reasoning Models on HPC"
  • "DPAR: High-Performance, Secure, and Scalable Differential Privacy-based AllReduce"

These works explore emerging directions in large-scale AI systems and secure distributed training.

Congratulations to all authors!
